Technical detail
Explore the planning, engineering, delivery and support considerations for Repair Booking Form.
What we need from you
Tell us the equipment make, model and serial number, purchase or commissioning date, precise fault description and the operating environment (venue type, power, network). Note visible damage, any third‑party modifications and the conditions that trigger the fault. Accurate asset data reduces diagnostic time and shortens lead times.
Booking process and logistics
After submission we validate details and email an RN reference. The RN includes options: workshop drop-off at our Derby repair centre, pre-booked courier collection, or pre-authorised return shipping. For onsite faults we schedule a site visit with a pre-call to confirm access, safety points and local contact. Collection or visit costs and timeframes are confirmed in the RN.
Service levels, estimates and approvals
We complete an initial inspection and provide a diagnostic report and a fixed quote that separates labour, parts and firmware work. Repairs begin only after you provide written approval. If repair is uneconomical we issue a technical failure report and supply recommended replacement options. Paid priority and emergency authorisation are available and documented in the RN.
Technical acceptance and commissioning checks
Every repaired unit undergoes targeted functional verification aligned to the reported fault and system integration tests where relevant. Tests include power draw, audio frequency response, firmware integrity and network behaviour. We attach time‑stamped test records, firmware versions and commissioning notes to the RN for auditing and reintegration.
Spare parts, replacements and warranty handling
We fit manufacturer‑specified spare parts and log replaced module serial numbers. Repaired items carry a repair warranty covering workmanship; damage caused by physical impact or water ingress is excluded. For genuine manufacturer warranty claims we compile inspection reports and assist with RMA paperwork when permitted by manufacturer policy.
Data security, configurations and return to service
We document device configurations and control mappings before repair and, where safe, restore settings after service. We never retain client credentials. Returned units are labelled with RN, repair summary and commissioning notes to simplify reintegration into venue systems and reduce reprogramming time on site.
How to prepare equipment for transit
Remove loose media and detachable storage. Pack equipment in the original packaging or a sturdy equivalent with cushioning and secure connectors. Include a printed contents list, contact details and any known IP addressing or control mappings for networked devices to speed commissioning after return.
Supported product categories
We accept commercial AV hardware, LED pixel panels, digital signage displays and Pioneer DJ / Alpha Theta equipment. Trade and multi‑site enquiries follow our trade sales and service channels for consolidated handling and bulk logistics.
Booking expectations and next steps
Expect an automated RN email within one working day; the technical inspection and quoted diagnostic follow within our published workshop intake window. Approvals, parts lead times and any onsite visit scheduling are tracked against the RN until completion.
