We complete a measured site survey in Cardiff that captures acoustic volumes, mounting structure, sight-lines, power distribution and access constraints. Deliverables: annotated CAD plans, cable-route diagrams, load calculations and a schedule of statutory interfaces (fire alarm, BMS). Key decision points recorded in the survey: speaker zoning strategy, LED cabinet type (front- vs rear-service), structural fixing methods for walls with limited headroom, and mains capacity upgrades if required.

For background music, paging and live DJ capability we specify loudspeaker arrays and subwoofer complements matched to room modes and SPL targets. Choice of manufacturer (RCF, Martin Audio or JBL) depends on tonal objective and physical constraints. We calculate speaker placement with delay stacks and apply DSP-based FIR/IIR filters and time alignment. Amplification selection considers headroom and efficiency (Powersoft where compact power and thermal management are priorities). Deliverables include as-built DSP presets, zone matrices and a measured audio tuning report showing before/after frequency response curves.

We assess viewing distances and ambient light to select pixel pitch for LED walls or recommend narrow-bezel commercial displays for tiled video. Structural and thermal constraints determine cabinet choice; in tight spaces we use low-profile cabinets and rear-service access. Content distribution is sized by source count and latency tolerance: small systems use HDMI matrices and scalers; larger multi-screen venues use AVoIP or dedicated video wall processors from proven vendors. Network planning includes VLAN segmentation for AV traffic, multicast architecture where needed and QoS rules to preserve low-latency streams.

Lighting designs combine architectural wash, accent and performance fixtures. We specify fixtures (Chauvet and Cameo ranges where appropriate) and calculate DMX addressing, dimmer loads and power distribution. Control integration ties lighting scenes with AV presets: for example, a single ‘Match Night’ preset sets source routing, zone levels and theatrical lighting. We deliver locked operator pages for staff and engineer-level access for maintenance. Control interfaces are hardware or touchscreen-based and include secure remote access options if remote monitoring is selected.

Installation follows a phased programme: containment and cabling, fixed equipment installation, rack build and network configuration, integration and commissioning. We supply method statements addressing working at height and electrical isolation for each milestone. Commissioning uses measurement microphones and software to align delays, set EQ and confirm SPL targets per zone; video commissioning verifies LED uniformity and colour calibration. The final handover includes labelled rack schematics, firmware/version notes, an operator manual and one on-site training session.

We provide scheduled maintenance options: firmware updates, LED module checks, amplifier thermal inspections and priority callouts under SLA. Lifecycle planning includes spare-part lists for LED tiles and common amplifier modules, recommended firmware baselines and documented rollback procedures. Networked AV systems have documented VLANs, access controls and recommended password management to reduce security risk.
